Steve Hulmes,
Operations Director

Steve has more than 16 years experience covering all aspects of high level IT and systems including senior management, consulting, development and delivery, both for suppliers and with end users.

Before joining Quaestor as Operations Director and technical guru, Steve was MD of Broadnet - the software business of Quaestor's parent Optimisa group plc - and before that he co-founded the start-up Internet software company SysExcel.

Steve has held operational directorships with the Xicon Group (a specialist Oracle professional services organisation) and a senior sales consultancy role within the Oracle Corporation. He has also held IT management positions in the UK Atomic Energy Authority, SCT Corporation and Pitman-Moore, a large US pharmaceutical organisation.

His experience over the years has enabled him to build, motivate and retain a highly successful team in a marketplace where high quality resource is both at a premium and extremely mobile.
